Most of the topics that I have seen have to do with inspector media, or are older threads. I’m curious if anyone currently uses Facebook ads and has noticed this help their business? I am curious also if it does work, if it is more for advertising to clients or realtors? Thanks!
I am part of a business group that has a number of small businesses that have all sorts of different products and services.
NO ONE who has used Facebook has had a positive return.
Nextdoor however seems to work pretty well. I’m busy enough I don’t need to advertise, but if I was going to do that, it’d be on Nextdoor.
Obviously different markets for different folks.
Paid FB ads never do much.
Posting on FB regularly is free and much more effective.

Do you know what they do on Nextdoor? Like just make posts or do advertising? Im not super familiar with the app so I am not sure if they even offer advertising.
Besides just posting, Is there anything else that has worked on Facebook?
Commenting on real estate agent’s posts.
treat FB and IG as a 2-way street. Post and interact.

Everyone has a business page and interacts with people. If you pitch, you alienate. It has to look organic. “I’m looking at buying a place, should I get an inspection?” Your answer is…"Yes, you should get an inspection. While I’m biased because I’m a licensed home inspector, I’ll gladly answer any questions you might have. The process is a little complicated and it’s difficult to know even what you should do but I’ll help you without obligation. Ask away, I’ve heard them all :).
Once you have rapport and answer some questions, they will ask you to do their inspections. Like fish in a barrel.
The best part is the audience that is silently reading it. People take notes. I’ve had calls out of the blue because of a post on ND months back.
Now, you do need to follow thru though and answer questions but it’s typically just hand holding, no biggie.
