Looking at doing some advertising for a magazine called “For Sale By Owner”. 350 stores it’s in. $200 a month for 6 months. Has anyone tried this method of advertising and if so, is it worth it?
At this time, I'm thinking of trying it. I called a few companies in the magazine and the are happy with it. Only three home inspection companies can advertise at one time. Two are already in the book.

Kevin,
I'm not sure about a FSBO magazine. I just started advertising in a magazine called Open House Magazine, which is sponsored by Keller Williams. They are fairly big here, and 30,000 copies a month go out here.
I get a quarter page ad for $59.00 per month, as long as I take a 3 month spot. I just started it this month, and I have gotten two inspections through KW. Now I can't put my finger on whether it is from the mag or my marketing, or both yet. $200 sounds a little high, and my thought is that you may not get a lot of good will or repeat business from Realtor recommendations.
