Has anyone else been contacted by an attorney to provide faulty wind mitigation inspection reports for evidence in a pending lawsuit against the re-inspection agencies?
If so, do you plan on helping them with their cases?
Here is the e mail I received:
Mr. Van De Ven:
I saw a post of your on a NACHI forum, discussing Citizens re-inspection program. We a law firm in West Palm Beach and recently filed a Federal class action against Mueller Services, related to the re-inspections that they performed for Citizens.
We are now receiving calls from people with similar complaints against Inspection Depot and Quality Built/Don Meyler. Have you ever performed re-inspections for Citizens?
If not, and you have opinions regarding the credibility of re-inspection reports, would you be willing to discuss this with us?

I do not see in that message where they are requesting you to provide faulty wind mitigation reports.

I would agree, but, since we all know there are problems with these inspections and the manner in which they are conducted, shouldn’t that be brought to light?
The issue for me is that I don’t like A) Having any more grief/aggravation added to my life, and B) Don’t like doing these inspections and having to deal with the BS that comes with it.
