My husband and I are going to potentially put an offer in on a log cabin located in central Indiana. The cabin has been very well maintained and is about 2,500 SQ FT. Our one concern is the potential maintenance costs. Could you provide any guidance on the average maintenance costs of a log cabin of this size?

Its hard to determine the average cost of maintenance without further details such as age of mechanicals, roof age, condition of logs, etc. Have you had the home inspected yet?
