All members or just stateside members?
I’m going to be busy on Monday. Any chance we could wait until Tuesday?
I heard it through the grapevine that Nicks buying ISN and will be offering it free to all members.
Actually, there is no grapevine so I never heard anything of the sort.
But wouldn’t it be friggin awesome if he did?
Still looking forward to what Nick has to say come Monday.
Great. That was 20 years ago, but I’ll add it to the list above. That newspaper was called Real Property Times and was the sister to the one I posted above called Inspector’s Quarterly (one for agents, one for inspectors). We published hundreds of thousands of each of them. Both then became digital versions once it was technically able to be done thanks to Constant Contact. The one to agents lasted until earlier this year when we finally ended that newsletter after a 20+ year run. IQ’s digital version is still being published today at: https://www.internachinewsletter.com/
Thanks for reminding me. I’ve added it to my list of materialized projects above.
Group Health Insurance for Nachi members?
Biden made association-run health care impossible. Elections have consequences.
Definitely a lot of informercial buy now type of advertising from Nick over the years.
THAT"s for sure!
You announced “new” Group Health Insurance for Nachi members Way before Biden became president.
Obviously, he has at least six more years before we can claim something he promised “never materialized”, then he will just make up more ‘tales’ to try and BS us!
(Nick-speak 101)
I’m not going to pretend to know all of the nuances around the current health care law as it relates to AHPs’ (Association Health Plans), but I do know that Trump opened up a bunch of restrictions making it much easier for an association to band together for health insurance. Then a group of Democratic AGs’ challenged the new rules in court and won. I’m not sure Biden actually had anything to do with it.
An AHP can still be created by an association (using the old rules) but I believe it is quite complicated and would only cover those who have employees, not sole proprietors. One of the things Trump’s plan changed was to make it available to sole proprietor members of the association, and I think this was one of the biggest things the AGs’ had a problem with. But it’s complicated, lol.
In July 2018, a coalition of 12 Democratic attorneys general—led by New York and Massachusetts—filed a lawsuit challenging the final rule for violating the Administrative Procedure Act. The 12 jurisdictions involved are California, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington.

Sure isn’t hurting the “we work in conjunction with internachi to offer group health plans.” Texts from appearing in my cell phone 4 days a week.
Yep. We formed it (materialized) after Trump made it legal. And we give all the credit to Donald Trump: https://www.fiercehealthcare.com/payer/department-labor-alexander-acosta-association-health-plans-trump-aca
He was a great president.
Yep. Dems caused us to waste a bunch of money putting our program together after Trump made it legal for associations to do so. Dems went to court and outlawed it.
Apparently I missed the memo because I never saw anything materialized with this internachi membership group Health Plan.
I agree. I don’t recall announcing it before the Dems made it illegal. We might have or we might have done a survey. But either way, it is now not legally possible. Maybe if Trump gets elected again, he will permit associations to offer healthcare again.
He did it once, he can do it again… if he gets elected: https://www.modernhealthcare.com/article/20180619/NEWS/180619904/trump-administration-finalizes-rule-to-expand-association-health-plan-access
@gromicko What time are you making the announcement today?
