Hi all-
2 things i have not see before…appreciate feedback information
Propane regulator- looks like vent is extended by pvc pipe>>Assume is this due to generator?
If yes- does anyone have clearance/requirement info?
Boiler- Natural vent connects to B-vent through foundation/not terminated above the roof.
Have never seen installed through foundation/terminated roughly 48"… I am familiar with through the roof spec. Trying to find anything that states can not be through foundation/terminated so low…etc
Anyone have any reference info?
I appreciate it.
Thank you
The “crime” may be the elbow at the vent cap. The cap should be vertical. I don’t think there is a code against B-vent flue going up the side of the house. The vertical section must be the same length or longer than the “horizontal” run and most flue designs have only two 90-degree elbows.
Yeah…I thought about the 2-10 rule, also. The manufacturer’s instructions should describe what’s allowed, but I think you are correct about calling out a 2-10 violation.
