I just purchased a few book’s on Buy.com at some excellent prices.


I was going to buy a book by Carson & Dunlop, there are 47 in all.
Can anyone suggest which is better or more encompasing.
If you have an ISBN # from the back of the book, that would be great.


Also Guy Cozzi is another author who has a lot of book's. Can anyone specify one in particular that is best.
(If you have an ISBN # it would be great)

And where can I pick up IRC book's? Can you supply any IRC ISBN #'s?

Hi Bob,


Here is the Carson Dunlap Illustrated Home ISBN #1-895585-91-0.

This is a great book loaded with lots of detailed pictures. Mine is the spiral bound 1998 first edition.

Also, for the IRC (2000), the ISBN #1-892395-17-7 (soft cover) and #1-892395-18-5 (loose leaf).

That’s the ISBN I was looking for, They also have a new IRC 2004 but I think it’s out next month.

I just started classes this week. $ total, one being an IRC 109 week plumbing cert class. I'll get the 2003 book next week

Robert you can get the IRC from one of the model code orgs. Now the ICC, I think their at icc.org or something like that

For what it's worth regarding the purchase of Carson Dunlop publications I might suggest you visit their web page. I have made comparisons of Buy.com, Amazon.ca and Amazon.com

I found that Carson Dunlop sells for less and in Canadian funds so that $1.00 US equals $0.72 Canadian....a real bargin for our neighbours to the south.
