This piece of PVC piping connection is at the top of this well housing. There is a wire coming out of the one piece of PVC. It is not the power supply to the submersible pump because that is in conduit right next to this piping. Obviously it is broken but there were no problems with the water supply at the time of the inspection. If anybody knows what this is please help. Thanks! icon_question.gif

Harry, is it the original pump for the house? Could the PVC be for the original pump that was put in and when it was replaced, they used conduit instead?

No the home is only 6 years old so it is the original pump. I can see the PVC piping is the supply pipe from the well, but was is the black romex coming out of the back of the PVC attached to this faucet. Thanks DBush for your reply.
