What say you? Does this need some type of special coupling ?
Is there another type besides the typical rubber with hose clamps part if needed or is copper to cast iron not as big a deal as a water supply ?
I know brass to either is OK for the most part.
Had these transitions all over the basement as well.
As long as the CI hub had a seal or there was separation from the 2 diff metals, I don’t see a problem with it. Looks professional/right way to do it to me. I usally see ferncos, which is o.k., too. Was there any evidence of electrolysis anywhere?
copper had green at many connection points but did not see corroded or leaking. Lots of transition points however so covering my bases.
Not all had hubs.
May focus on those.Thanks.Dumb question but distracted today .
