If I changed one of my website titles to “Arizona Certified Master Inspector”, of course it would be number one in Google, because nobody searches the term.
Pointless.

So, as per the application I could do 150 hrs of home study send in my $175.00 and get a CMI designation without ever having completed a single inspection. Or am I missing something? ? It would not be the first time.

The general public is obsessed with the word certified.
Certified Home Inspector and Certified Home Inspectors are also high on the list of terms consumers use to search for inspectors.
Master is not. Licensed is not.

Master is not used by consumers in searches… in almost any profession (except for maybe electricians and plumbers being sought by other tradesman). Consumers (the one’s buying homes) are obsessed by the word Certified.
Certified Home Inspectors
Certified Home Inspector
Certified Inspectors
Certified Inspector
are what consumers use in google, msn, yahoo, etc.

I tracked pay-per-click advertising for years, the keyword “certified” is not what I call a “hot” search term in the two most popular sites and their affiliates.http://www.google.com/images/google_sm.gif Google Advertising Programs

It seems to me if a person was looking for a HI they would search for say
“Certified home inspector(s) in Portland Oregon” or a variation of the same key words.
From my web site tracker data: Folks useually use “Tucson Arizona Home inspector(s)” or a variation of those key words. However, lots of people find my site by searching for Plumbing info, Realtor info etc.
