Checking DBPR for License Renewal Credits

Hi Florida licensed inspectors,

Here is a tip for when you log into DBPR to confirm that your renewal credits have been submitted:

Make sure when you log into your license account on DBPR that you are viewing the current credit year - It has come to my attention that when members log in to view their DBPR account, the website is defaulting to the upcoming renewal year, which has not started yet.

There is a drop down menu at the top of the screen within your account on the DBPR website that says “View Requirements for a Different Renewal Period.” This allows you to choose the renewal period that you are viewing.

When you select that dropdown menu, you can select the current period, which is 8/01/2020 - 7/31/22. That will show you the current renewal period, and your credits should show there. The renewal period the DBPR page has been showing is for 8/01/2022 - 7/31/24, which hasn’t started yet.

And as always, be sure to have your Florida license number entered in your InterNACHI member profile before completing the final exam within an approved CE course so the credits know where to go.

CE credits are auto submitted to DBPR on your behalf and will appear on your license within 5 business days of completing the course.

Thanks, and happy inspecting!
