Foundation wedge crack graphic

Had a home this weekend with a wedge crack on the outside of of a foundation corner. Red brick sitting directly on foundation. When I tried to explain to the client how it was likely caused by thermal expansion of the brick, my clients gave me the deer in the headlights look. He couldn’t wrap his head around what I was saying. Anyway, I am looking for a good graphic to show the client that would help give a visual for the explanation. Does anyone have one they can share?
