Does anyone have any idea where I can find a “Cost to Cure” or “Repair Cost” software? I do work for relo companies sometimes that requires me to put a money value on the defects. I have the “Blue Book”, but spend way too much time thumbing thru the book that isn’t the greatest to begin with. I’m thinking a PDF or a program that has search features will drastically reduce my time on reports.

Tell them you are not a contractor and you have no idea what a professional will charge to do the job properly without getting several estimates fro the area 
I do not believe home inspectors are trained in pricing other trades work. Heck I even think it is illegal in some States. Speak up if it is illegal in yous, anyone reading this. I am not sure but I am sure it should be.

I’ve always been partial to the Craftmans estimating stuff…
iScope runs off of the Craftsman database. It’s pretty cool.
You could send your clients there and they could figure out their own ‘cost to cure’.
