Nick,
Isn’t this is exactly what the NFE was created for?
Not For Everyone: (Members Only) This is a members only forum that contains threads that are not for everyone. These may include messages with religious themes, political views, crude humor, or other content that some may find objectionable.
I could be wrong, but I think most members that are complaining about these types of threads are more worried about the image of NACHI in the public eye than they are about being offended by a post of someone with different political views than their own.
I know it’s your sandbox Nick and you make the rules and decisions, but maybe it’s time for you to consider doing away with the NFE section since these types of threads are now allowed (and have been for a few years now) in areas of the MB that are open to the public.
What a remarkably satisfactory answer! Thanks Dave! That makes sense.
I doubt I’ll ever look at the InterNACHI forum again, but at least I’m not scratching my head anymore.
But knowing Trump’s mentality, it’s not hard to believe. However, Rolling Stone is hard to believe. Shall I count the ways?
From the non-source provided article
" Rolling Stone reported that two inside sources close to the twice-impeached president had heard him vent about the Republican governor taking the limelight off Trump and accused him of using the migrant flights to prop up his national profile ahead of a potential bid for the White House."
Now that’s something Trump can complain was stolen. How many times did he try to spew his propaganda with “I heard…”, “someone told me…”, “a friend of mine said…”
This is a inspection forum. Please stop bringing politics in such a room. Take that negativity away and discuss topics we are here for inspections. Thanks
We understand that our commitment alone is not enough to fully address these risks, and therefore we call on policymakers to work with us to promote safe use of these robots and to prohibit their misuse. We also call on every organization, developer, researcher, and user in the robotics community to make similar pledges not to build, authorize, support, or enable the attachment of weaponry to such robots. We are convinced that the benefits for humanity of these technologies strongly outweigh the risk of misuse, and we are excited about a bright future in which humans and robots work side by side to tackle some of the world’s challenges.
