Different dryer receptacle

I ran across a different type of dryer receptacle today. I was wondering if anyone else has seen anything like this for a dryer. I presume it’s an acceptable receptacle, but I want to make sure. Any info would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Tony

Just report that the dryer will not plug into that receptacle without it being changed out to a normal receptacle for dryers.

As Larry said. I think that is a 250 volt 15 amp receptacle. Not for a dryer.

That is a NEMA 6-30R receptacle. It is 250V 30A. Your standard dryer receptacle is a NEMA 14-30R 120/250V 30A

Good call to put that in your report

Thanks everyone for the feedback; I appreciate it!
