Troy, I will keep this short with you. I could care less what you do. Oh just don’t say on your site you are a Certified inspector, that is not allowed. I don’t think you do now anyway as you are smarter than that.
Anyway You never attacked me and tried that Bull about me not being licensed in VA simply to defame me in public as the other 3 amigos did. For that I have respect for you and as we may disagree sometimes you keep it professional with no Defaming comments.
Check your facts Jim, never once called you a liar. Find it and post it if I did. That is not my style. You really think I give two craps about your certifications or licenses? Fact check: I don’t. There are great guys in this industry, find some and try and be friends.
I was having issue on my sewer line & my home inspector offer me good service like he provides me sewer line inspection via camera & videos through.thanks to him.
Back to the topic at hand… sewer line inspections.
I do not offer them, but do recommend them in every inspection report. I also recommend they be performed by a licensed professional (plumber, mechanical contractor, septic installer).
If I were to offer the service, it would be a separate and distinct venture and operation form the home inspection. It would have a separate contract, company name, and payment.
I would feel more comfortable being underwitten through a completed operations policy in conjunction with professioal liability (E&O) specific to that venture. I say this because the potential for liability is so high.
If Nathan is offering this as some sort of policy, then it might be worthwhile if it is what he claims it is. If the intention is to offer a warranty of some sort to a client, then one would need to look at it carefully and seek cousel from their attorney.
I say this because we are no longer talking about an appliance warranty. A sewer line replacement is a construction project, which comes with its own set of liability, including permits, design, and the like.
Let’s hear more about the program prior to burying it.
