Chris, When I type a post and go back to edit it I get a message “sorry, you are not able to enter this board” or something along that line. Editing is a must for us scatterbrains that always have afterthoughts, not to mention saying something we want to take back…(What did he say? :o)

Sorry it took so long to reply. I’m looking into the script right now. If I can’t fix it, we’ll move to a different message board system.

Sorry for the inconvenience,

Chris Morrell

Aventure Media has been working on a new version of the forums we’re running, which should be released at the end of the month. They’re currently fixing the last of its bugs. This new version should fix the edit bug along with other little things. It should also run a little faster. Until then, double-check your posts  (Or write them somewhere that has a spell-check and paste them into this here little box).

Chris,

When I try to send a private message, I am getting an error message that you (the administrator) have prevented me from sending private messages.

I fixed the problem. In the old system, there was no option to disable private messages. When I created the database for the new message boards, it set the “allow private messages” setting on everyone to “0” by default. I went in and set it to “1” for everyone, so you all should be able to send private messages now.

Ok Chris,

I give! Where do you go to find out who is online now? I can not find it anywhere.

Chris, I am assuming this tells you who is on the message board, not who is on-line...correct? Nick

Nick,

At the bottom of the index page, there's a box that says "Who is Online." First it has some stats about the message boards as a whole, and then below it tells you who is online and what their status is. It also lets you know things like when the most people were online. If you click the link "Who is Online" it gives you even more details.

That was a long answer to say that the "Who is Online" box actually tells you who is online, not who the members are. If you look at the top, there's a memberlist that tells you all registered members of the board.

Enjoy,

?

Chris,

So the "who's online" is only available on the index page of the message boards. Ok, now I found it.
