Has anyone done a EMF inspection Using a EMF detector for a client ?
REM pods are better.

Not for a home inspection nor would I ever even consider performing one. I have performed EMF investigations long, long ago and you had best know what you are measuring for, have an iron clad contract specifying your limitations, and use even a half ass worth measuring equipment or you could be heading for real trouble!
Just out of curiosity what equipment were you planning to purchase or have purchased for this endeavor?

Two weeks ago, a Lockheed engineer (my client) speculated on EMFs from the induction range. First time in years that I had a client bring up EMFs. His wife said that she would bring her gaussmeter over to measure it.
I only thought, who has a gaussmeter at home?

To many pitfalls for this type of ancillary service and proper equipment to do the job correctly can be very expensive.
In 20 years I have had maybe 2 requests or concerns about EMF and EMI issues. For some in may be a genuine concern. However those are also the ones that will hold you to account when you easily miss sources that were not apparent during the one visit. Let the other Inspectors who want to con the public do the con work and also let them be the ones to be sued or reputations sullied when they encounter an unhappy client.
I always use an ear piece.
And “I generate more heat than light.”
