I researched the article on air sampling for mold inspections. I appreciate the way the information is written in an easy to read format, that includes pictures to coordinate with a particular lesson.
Mold particles are collected via air sampling cassettes or other impaction sampling methods where forced air impacts spores onto a microscope slide or a cassette. I learned “When and when not to sample”. This is great information to review as this gets lost or forgotten over time. Internachi inspectors should avoid taking samples if a resident of the house is under a doctors care for mold exposure, or if litigation exists regarding mold issues, or if its too dangerous in relation to your health or safety.
Great stuff.
