Cementitious siding properly installed, with all cut ends properly sealed, is the best siding material we have today.

Would not you install according to JamesHardie warranty instructions?

It “seems” that you would caulk “seams”…but …Hardie states otherwise as you can read in their installation instruction and manuals.
