It is hot water. The water only trickles out though so the owner said they don’t use it. Owner indicated it was a DIY project.

The problem with hot water is that the water heater can harbor bacteria because they are not hot enough to kill it off.

It should be cold water. They are used in commercial kitchen all the times.
