can anyone tell me if there is a way to repair a fiberglass shower chips


on the floor or do you just replace the entire unit. Will water get underneath


it and cause problems?

various resins and epoxies are available to repair fiberglass and other composites. The repairs typically aren't invisible, but are damned attractive considering the alternative.

The ultimate cure lies in prevention. Jane, take off your spurs before entering the shower.

Jane, if you check around with some local companies, there are some that can and will do a good job. It can be repaired, almost as good as new. I have seen some done when you cannot tell where it was repaired if you did not know ahead of time.
