Does anyone know how to find the phone number of a buddy from 40 years ago that lives in say Des Moines, IA?

Google your buddies name with quotation marks around it so it searches for first and last together. I think you might be able to go to whitepages.com. Also have you tried to find him on facebook?
Larry, you’d be surprised who’s on facebook, but also try contacting your school alumni association, along with any other association you guys might have belonged too… and think about his life and interests - you might come up with a club or association that he might have joined.
Can’t hurt to check the local veterans clubs too, perhaps?
