What gives with the Fire Door Inspections certification?
More specificity please.
NACHI wanted to give classes on becoming a certified fire door inspector.I dont if this will still happen.
Most insurance companies perform these at large commercial accounts, specifically if they have a true fire wall. I think you might mean a fire rated door on a fuseable link for fire wall separation. UL provides rating information, NFPA provides requirements. Check with the NFPA on this one.
HIP users will have a InterNachi ComSop Fire door template available on the HIP message board in late November. It will follow section 16 of the ComSop.
I have my first fire door inspection of about 30 doors and was looking for the InterNachi ComSop Fire door template mentioned above. Also if anyone has a HIP template for multiple doors that would be wonderful. Thank you.
