Gable end roof cross bracing

Isn’t gable end cross bracing required in Florida.
I can’t recall is it was required or optional. @sfetty

Florida requires bracing per BCSI, which includes extra bracing at gables. All of the Plans I see in our area show diagonal bracing installled at the center and 4’ OC across the wall with panel edge blocking in the first 4 chords (8’). Taller walls in this area (Plans very) require vertical L-back and in some cases horizontal L-back across the vertical L-backs. To be fair we are in very different wind speed zones.
