The data plate would be inside behind the cover. I think it would be safe to say that its an original installation (7 years).

The brown cables are low voltage wiring, from the thermostat and to the exterior unit. The green looks like a ground to the gas piping. Sloppy but not necessarily wrong.

Have the furnace checked by an HVAC company. From what I can see of the burners through the louvers those were the style that were recalled due to light off problems. Don’t qoute but believe the new burners are replacement free. Owners just pay for labor.
