Hi


If the gas valve is not visible for the gas stove would you mark down


not visible and leave it at that or would you mark it not visible but


this should be made visible in case of emergency

Most gas shut-off valves are behind the stove. Normal location around here.

sctt , do you know if this is not a code violation because you should be able to turn it off in case of emergency. doesn’t make sense you can[t get to it.

The local requirement here (for homes built since 1998) is that the gas valve must be located behind the stove at least 30" from the floor. It was the same in VA.
