Go to Google and type in Geothermal HVAC. You will get way more than you ever wanted to know about Geothermal systems. The University of Okalahoma is probably the front running authorty on Geos and have been the research for years. The inspection isn’t much different than that for an air exchange heat pump (only uses a different medium) There isn’t an outdoor unit to inspect. The indoor unit is typically larger than what you are used to. Most of the bigger makers have sections on geothermals as well.
