The theme is 2 individuals constantly attack one association or individual …I ask you would you sit back and ignore when these same 2 are trying their best to tear down the past 5 years of work…I would hope your answer is NO! If your business was being slandered would you not defend it? We have tried to ignore the ridiculous posts and the fact that they need to be defended. There should never be a need to defend … but the attacks, personal insults just got worse!

The way I see it the problem with “ignoring” a person is not the complete solution.
Perhaps we need to go back to old system of rating posts or perhaps a means to provide warnings by posts by certain individuals. So many demerits and it’s a time out! I know it may not be the best option, but something needs to be in place to stop this behavior and nonsense.
It does NOT stop the person from posting more information that smears or defames another reputation or lack of truth to or about matters. That information posted is still open for public consumption or use on an open public forum.
Simply there’s tons of information and dirt to data mine and keep for reuse if one so chooses. So I see why some have no choice but to continue to “try” and protect their reputation as best they can.

Along with that, if you recall, was the inability to change or delete a post after a short timeframe. Certain members would have a stroke if that was re-enacted again. These members have a very bad habit of returning to their posts after others have already replied to them, and changing them to show a different frame of mind. Why do you think I and others are constantly quoting posts? Now that you know this, you will be amazed when you see the pattern. Says alot about these people.
Example: Post #19 of this thread. It was edited almost three (3) hours after it was originally posted. Obviously, it was not a simple proofread correction to spelling or grammar.

The aggressor message, in many cases, continued intimidation, to propagate his agenda freely, and allow others to think they can do the same.
I propose:
1: A volunteer moderator.
2: A private members dispute section.
