Hey Jerry P. You still out there?

I told the homeowner that I would pay for the new GFCI outlet if he would let me have this one.

About 50% of the time, after I reset it, it would look like this. . .

If you still want it, I'll be happy to send it to you.

There was another in the kitchen that would reset with an open neutral, but that's a bit more common. You probably already have one like that ![icon_wink.gif](upload://ssT9V5t45yjlgXqiFRXL04eXtqw.gif)

Jeff, save it for a little while. Jerry posted that he was going on a couple of weeks vacation. I think he will be back first part of next week.

Interesting, Jeff.

I had one Friday that showed the same thing until I unplugged the other cord. Did you try that?

Yes, I did. I've run across this only one other time and Jerry requested that I send him the outlet if I could get it.

I won't even have it until some time next week, if at all.

It is a bad GFCI.

Is your tester showing a 'no neutral' condition?

I just replaced a GFCI that was working for 16 years with only the 'hot' conductor (reversed) on the load side.

Downstream outlets tripped this GFCI.

I am still trying to figure this one out.

The NEW Leviton GFCI's will not engage if there is a problem.

Added note this was a multi-feed circuit. Not that should make a difference, just a note.
