The winner gets a free full blown version of Home Inspector Pro and a Max Life 369 Tripod flashlight http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGRx0ACcMbE and $50 from FREA and some other InterNACHI goodies from Lisa Endza.
We’re giving Green Bay 7 points. Place your guess by correctly guessing the winner of the game (include the spread). So if the final score is Dallas 20 and Green Bay 14… Green Bay wins.
Then guess the total points scored in the game (by both sides, not including the spread). So if the final score is Dallas 20 and Green Bay 14… the total points scored would be 34.
We will choose the winner from the members who correctly guess the winning team (including the spread) by looking at their total points scored guess. The member who guesses closest to the total points scored wins (not including the spread). Winner can be under or over. Winner had to have correctly guessed the winning team though (including the spread).
If there is still a tie (two or more members guess the winner correctly and guess the total points scored with the same level of accuracy as each other) we will break the tie by earliest to post or edit.
You can place your guess (1 per member) right up until kick off and edit your post right up until kick off, but again, there is a slight advantage to posting first in terms of tie breaking between members.
If there is a tie between teams… for instance if the score is Dallas 20 and Green Bay 13… everyone loses, and we’ll save the prizes for next Thursday.
If Steven or any of the other Home Inspector Pro users win it I’ll give them 6 months of the upload service for free instead. But if Steven wins it he also needs to go buy me a lotto ticket.
I like Brett Favre and if he would just keep throwing those little slants he’d roll right down the field on Dallas, but he won’t. He’ll want to keep up with Romo. So I’m taking Dallas less the 7.
Dominic, should we change the 7 to 7.5 to eliminate the chance of a team tie? It means that there wouldn’t be a chance of the prize being carried over to nex Thursday which means I probably have to hit you up again next Thursday.
Mike, I think we have to stick with the spread here. I want to know what you are thinking though. Do you forsee lopsided betting that would change the spread in Vegas?
