InterNACHI has been hard at work developing a brand-new certification exam—and we’ve already made huge progress. Thus far, InterNACHI has,
- Hired a psychomertrician
- Hosted nationwide focus groups
- Conducted a Job Task Analysis survey with thousands of responses
- Created a new, industry-relevant exam content outline
Now it’s time for the fun part: writing the questions! If you’re interested, please email joanna@internachi.org with your interest and any specialties you’d like to write about (e.g., HVAC, Plumbing, WDO).
Details:
- Training: Remote 1.5-hour session on Tuesday, August 5th at 6 PM EST. Our psychometrician will show you everything you need to know.
- Commitment: ~1–2 hours/week for two months writing ~5 questions/week
- Task: Learn to craft high-quality certification questions and review others
- Afterwards: Opportunities to review and confirm final questions before beta testing
We welcome participants from all backgrounds, locations, and experience levels to ensure we are capturing the depth and breadth of the whole industry. If you can’t make the question writing training, don’t worry—a recording will be available and you’ll have open access to our psychometrician who is guiding the writing process and will be reviewing all questions before inclusion into the exam.
