Ok, that's soft copper being used as the water supply line, no shut-off to the water heater anywhere, other than at the main in the crawl. Combo of brass and S/S used to connect water supplies to galvanized steel. Check out the two galvanized nipples that are capped, homemade anti-hammer devices, one in direct connect with flue. Water supply lines to the dwelling: copper (hard and soft) galvanized, pvc and some vinyl tubing. Drain system: ABS with PVC joints, sections of PVC and some galvanized.

TPR, wouldn't even twist. House advertised as move in condition.

And as for this ![eusa_wall.gif](upload://hILV5Z8gRVLwzVpRIDJEm01uB52.gif) Electrical issues? Oh just a few!

Are my eyes playing tricks or is that PVC monstrosity right in front of the main service panel? Looks like an Arkansas plumber to me icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

Give that man a cigar!

Haven't decided if I should post on the electrical or not. Also water on floor from A/C condensate drain. Called a sparky friend, gave him a brief description of the problems. He estimated 2 men at least 10 hrs, to clean it up and remove all the problems. That did not include re-installing fixtures and proper wiring.
