After a “plumber” fixed the water heater problem, he informed her of so many other problems with the house. I looked at what he fixed. OOOPS!

1/2 inch copper

Pipe touching the floor with a male fitting at the end

3/8 copper pipes going to sink, tub/shower and toilet

Copper connected straight to galv. Plus the flex connection is leaking.

Everything I showed above is everything he so called fixed. This was a plumber from a company that charged a little over $500 ![icon_eek.gif](upload://yuxgmvDDEGIQPAyP9sRnK0D0CCY.gif)

Hi Kevin,

I see alot of these type repairs here in the sierra foothills. There are alot of so-called plumbers that are not licensed and are barely handymen. I inspected one Victorian in Grass Valley and in the crawlspace there was adobe pipe, lead, plastic(abs/pvc), copper and the like all mixed together. Some of the connections were really secure (duct tape)! Its amazing at what you see sometimes. Good pictures.

I just listed the items that the plumber worked on The water heater was vented like a fart fan, it was held together with tape.

Kevin,

The last two pictures were great! My last post was not meant to criticize. I think we need more info like these for the group. Thank you

Patrick

No problem! I didn’t see anything in your post that was criticizing. I’ll start using the Emoticons to better relay what I’m saying. icon_biggrin.gif
