Several equipment needs, any input you could give me on the following would be appreciated. Your hands on experience is more important to me than the “ads” I get for these items.

Moisture meter (evasive or non evasive) pros/cons
gas detector
CD meter
Other items you think important for a HI.

I have not used it yet, other than playing around with it, but I got a really great deal on a brand new Tif8800A (i think thats which one it is) off of EBay. I found a great deal on a ladder on Amazon.com. Even with shipping, it was $140 less than getting the same thing around here.
