Steve,
I have been using Homegauge for about 4 months and have had good results. It will take a lot of customizing to make it your own, but, the software is easily customized to suit your needs. I have had good experiences with tech support also. I have made several recommendations based on my client’s feed back and Homegauge has implemented the changes. I am still developing the report and different templates for the work that I do and it will always be evolving.

Steve & Steve: I agree HomeGauge is great software. The templates will need to be tweaked to get it right. (compare your list of questions to whatever inspection standards you use). Also, you will constantly be adding pick list items for “Styles & Materials” if you choose to use a similar format to mine. I like a combination checklist & narrative format. One of the best features is the Gold Service plan which allows you to upload to the website for clients and agents to view. They have a message board also. Check it out. I bet you’ll be inspecting some beautiful homes in Hawaii. Best wishes to you.

Hey Steve,
Shaka Bra! ![icon_cool.gif](upload://oPnLkqdJc33Dyf2uA3TQwRkfhwd.gif) or something like that. I've been using it for over two years now. It's great and has some fanatastic features that work well with the Grail.

I second everyone’s comments. I’ve been using it for about six months and I’m really happy with it. The new version that just came out last week (3.1) has some awesome new features. So far, I’ve gotten nothing but compliments on my reports from clients and agents. I also use their gold upload service, and that too is terrific.
