How to connect with realtors.

Hello Ben, i’m a member of Internachi. First I want to thank you for coming to Atlanta Ga, and giving a spectacular seminar. I’m having a little trouble reaching out to realtors Will you please read my email that I’m sending out to realtors and revamp it for me because it’s not working or give me some suggestions thanks. ( Hi,
My name Earl Shaw of Shaw Home Inspection. I’ve been in the home inspection business for eight months and wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself and give you information on the services I offer.
The services offered by Shaw Home Inspection are comprehensive and are for those who want a thorough analysis of the home major system. My job as your home inspector is to alert you of any unknown problems in your current or potential I would love to meet with you and discuss the possibility of working with you in the near future.
Thank you again.

So you are poisoning your own local market by sending out letters alerting all the agents that you are a newbie?

Did you read any of my books or attended any of my free marketing classes?

Oh my, ok, let’s start with the beginning

Ok, at this point, they’ve already stopped reading the thrown your letter in the trash. No one is going to hire the new guy. How long you’ve been or not been in business is irrelevant.

First up, finish the requirements to become a CPI so that you’re no longer a student member, and then replace this line with;
“I am a Certified Professional Inspector” and add in with a background in construction/real estate/whatever that may be relevant. But make it compelling.

Which may be true, but nearly every inspector says that. Boring.

Uh yeah, you’re just describing what a home inspector does. They are Realtors, they already know what a home inspector does. No one is going to be thrilled to be told what they already know.

You should have something something compelling that makes you stand out.
Such as you also offer a particular ancillary service. Maybe you do inspections on Sundays. Maybe you don’t inspect on Sunday’s because you volunteer feeding the homeless though a particular Church. Maybe you’re the only inspector in your town who (insert something).

After you finish the requirements to become a CPI, read this:

And then I suggest you read every thread here:

Twice.

By then your head should be swimming with ideas on what to put in a letter that makes you sound confident and compelling.
