Drill tip screws OK? ![icon_eek.gif](upload://yuxgmvDDEGIQPAyP9sRnK0D0CCY.gif)

This was close!

I had a funny feeling when I opened this because of all the tools around the garage. Kept one hand in my pocket and stood back.

I have lost a drill to this same thing about 3 years ago!

I was “home alone” inspecting this house.

The Radon Contractor installed a circuit behind the screw.

Always think "safety" if you see any activity that things have been changed in the box. I will no longer open a panel "alone" if I see this activity. I wait for the agent or client and give them my cell phone.

I have no problem with; "The interior of the main electrical sub-panel was not inspected due to non-standard components or circuits observed on site. This is a potential safety concern to this inspector. A licensed electrical contractor should evaluate and repair this electrical service panel".

Glad to see you are here to comment.
I would do the same.

The catch is you don't know if the dead front panel is hot.

Take your guard and check with a meter to ground.
Anything is better than being lifted.

If you don’t have an EMF Volt Stick (no contact type), get on today. It saved my life many a time and several friends I worked with whom I gave these things as presents.

It will tell you if a ground is hot.

Safety glasses ,non-contact tester A nice dry floor, yet a sweaty hand... or forehead... I prefer the rusty armored cable laying on the dirt crawl space floor...

mils kill , volts jolts.
