Kenton’s hard work is a piece of jewel.
I was going through the water heater section last night revamping my HIP template a bit and the way he presents his narratives really are good for newbies as well as seasoned inspectors.
The gas WH has 18 pages of narratives alone. He goes into great details without going beyond the scope of a normal home inspection and if it goes beyond, he states just that.
Of course you should adapt the narratives to your location and writing style.
What it really does best for newbies is give a step by step inspection process, routine and easy to read/understand narratives. That is priceless.
Purchased Kenton’s narratives for HIP and modifying them now, fantastic resource for three times the price!
