I just signed a book deal with a major publisher (all I’m permitted to say) to do a book on home inspections. It will be a less-technical (thank goodness for me) read mostly directed toward REALTORs and homebuyers. The publisher is having a professional writer and editor (thank goodness for me again) help me get it all together. It will be released in all the major book stores and of course recommend the use of NACHI members solely. I’ve already arranged for all my proceeds to be sent directly to the NACHI Foundation.

I look forward to seeing the book. In the meantime, I would be interested in getting folks ideas for a book to give to customers that is more of a home owners operations manual. I would like to give them something that will help them operate and maintain their house properly.

I’ve considered the “Mr. Fix it” book, but not sure. Any ideas would be appreciated.
