I like NCACHI and some of the things they are doing ( i.e. education) but in a year and a half have only had one email from any NACHI site and it was from a lady in Arizona asking me about her inspection 100 miles from here and what her legal rights were because there was some kind of major screw with the inspector she hired (who was not NACHI) Sure haven’t had any inspections through NACHI though. Wish I was getting some though

Ron, your website is getting hits from www.FindanInspector.US but your site is not working and hasn’t been.
You should look into it.
Go to the "Featured Inspectors" link in the left blue border of every page of NACHI and click your own website to see what I mean.
Then go to http://www.nachi.org/profileintro.htm and fix it.

No. It is something 1/2 secret though. Some members have figured out that we operate a gazillion covert sites (most of them directed toward home buyers) designed to drive quality traffic to our member’s sites. We have always refered to this covert operation as the Real Estate Referral Network as it started out almost solely targeted at real estate agents.

I definitely agree with Joe.
It's easy to get overloaded with associations, and when it's time to figure out where inspectors get the most bang for the buck, there really is no doubt that NACHI leads the pack.
I hacked the others out of my life like old weeds, after the first year.
From liability tips to marketing techniques, it's not only worth the cost of membership to stay abreast of nachi.org's info, but also worth the cost of a pc and connection to keep you informed!
