Amen. The reason I want an bought my ammo and new AR is to protect myself, family, and community.
I am worried about rioting scumbags who try to hurt, kill ,maim, steal, and rape during times on Natural or National Emergency.
I do not think we will be fighting our own soldiers as I do not believe many would fire upon our own innocent civilians.
I could be wrong but I believe the armed forces would more likely try to take over the government in our best interests if the government came after us regular law abiding citizens before they would fire upon their own families.
I am worried about the government regulating how I wish to defend myself and feel they have NO RIGHT.
IF YOU DO NOT PROTECT YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY **YOU AND THEM WILL DIE **WAITING ON HELP FROM THE GOVERNMENT.
I have lost much respect for those who will not stand up and protect themselves and instead hope someone else will get there in time. You are fools and I hope you do not have to **watch your family die **because you were not prepared for the tough times ahead.
Those who are starving and broke and have nothing will do anything to get what you have. You better have a plan and be prepared to protect yourselves.
Have a copy of this on my wall in my office. One reason why I NEVER argue with Sheep. Sheep never see the danger until it is too late and when it strikes just like real sheep the sheep will always bunch up together in panic in the most vulnerable position and be slaughtered (like sheep). Criminals, like wolves, love sheep. They are easy to scare, to kill and control. The analogy is a perfect one.
The problem with that line of thinking is that it assumes there is no positive effect on a situation where a crime is being committed just from the presence of a gun in the holster of a law-abiding citizen. In reality, the opposite is true. Crime decreases when concealed carry laws are enacted.
The difference between a criminal in Illinois and a criminal in any other state is that criminals in Illinois know full well that the average citizen does not have a weapon.
What you are failing to consider is that the times where you have had a gun in your face may never have happened if the criminal believed you also were armed. Crime is opportunistic and an armed citizenry reduces opportunity.
I agree with that part. The rest can suffer the consequences of their stupidity and the decision to live in an imaginary world of diplomacy and law abiding criminals.
I posted this statement in a different thread somewhere…My small town of about 15K here has a very low crime rate compared to some surrounding similar sized towns.
The reason? About 80% in this town are gun owners, and 100% of them are crazy enough to actually use them if cornered.
If you have the urge for a home invasion, robbery, or rape, there is a very real probability you will be shot!
We have a good number of churches and community “do good” programs, which I do not believe deters any violent criminal acts. What deters them is the realization that if you do a break-in, hold-up, home invasion, or attempt a rape or look lustfully at a little school girl, you could dietrying.
