R.I.P. Barry. I never met you, but I’ll always remember the night you drunk-called me at 1:am to talk about inspections. You were passionate about home inspections and had a unique sense of humor. You will be missed, sir.
Sad news, RIP Barry.
a big loss to the inspection industry…see you on the other side my friend …
Thank you for sharing, Nick.
Condolences to Adair Family and Friends.

RIP Barry…Condolences to his family and friends.
Check out picture 2 and look closely at the feet. This was 2 days before Christmas with a high that day of only 45 Degrees. He was the Crocks Without Socks Man! Never saw him on an inspection without the crocks and with socks!
There was never a dull moment with Barry and boy the stories of his past would make you laugh!
Barry’s in a better place now and probably doing Thermal Imaging on Angels to see how well they radiate energy!
If any of Y’all have pictures of Barry please post them here as his Wife Rozann would like to see them as well.
Awesome. I received a similar call one Saturday morning at 6:30 AM. I don’t know if alcohol was involved but he was passionate about home inspecting. We chatted for two hours and I felt I made a friend.
R.I.P. Barry and thank you for being kind to me.
He called me one time as well out of the blue to help me and answer a question I posted about stucco and windows.
He was so willing to take time out of his day to call a complete stranger..
I wish I could have known him better, was a great guy.
Condolences to the family.
I haven’t been around long enough to have known him, but by all means he sounds like a great guy. My condolences to his family and friends. RIP Barry.
This is sad news. Life here is very short. I’ve seen Barry in the inspector forums for 20 years. He was a great inspector. He was positive, witty, had a good sense of humor, and willing to help anytime. We spoke a handful of times over the years. He always gave good advice. Condolences to the family and may he RIP.
Sad to hear this. Barry was a great guy and mentor to me for several years. The knowledge he shared and things he taught me about the inspection industry has shaped my approach to inspections every day. He will be missed.
