Because they keep giving us strong-looking job reports that include government jobs, then quietly downgrade the reports later. I think they did that to try to help Harris get elected. But since that doesn’t matter any longer, perhaps they’ll just be honest.
Despite Trump winning and Musk explaining that we need to shrink government, 31,000 of the new jobs in today’s jobs report were not from the productive economy but were again… costs to us (government jobs).
