In preparation for the release of our new proctored exam which will have several options for proctoring…
1. Computer testing service.
2. Community Colleges.
3. Face to face online by a licensed practicing teacher, professor, or notary public.
we are taking a few steps to make sure there are no technical difficulties which would cause an inconvenience to the proctor, forcing a reschedule. One of the precautions now built is an express entrance to our exam as a backup to our existing registration process. This express entrance can be used when username, password, browser, cookies, or other technical problems are hampering registration.
The express entrance can now be found in the reddish colored box at http://exams.nachi.org

My friend,
You have never failed to fascinate us with your ideas.
Well done, you have our votes (Singapore Chapter).

Actually Andy, you had a lot to do with it.
Our exam, being so interactive and having so much built-in intelligence is going to be impossible for most existing US computer testing services to host let alone proctor. Our newer versions will have questions that actually reference photos. Proctoring is going to have to be done incorporating our system online...which means we will be able to offer it anywhere in the world... including Singapore.

YES! Currently, I am discussing with the Institute of Technical Education to conduct the protor exam using NACHI online exam and issuance of certificate jointly with NACHI. No conflict of interest. They also provide trade courses for continuing education.

Nick,
That indeed did happen very quickly. Congratulations.
Now, if only I could decide that quickly about which color of black socks to wear, hmmm ... this pair, or this pair, or this pair ... can't decide, they all look the same ...
