Hi. I am looking for information on infrared training courses. Want to know if a infrared camera is needed to take the Building Science and Infrared Thermal Imaging Course. Also if there are other courses that are helpful to take? I have completed the Infrared Thermography Inspection Training Course and know that the Green Building Course is also recommended. Appreciate any guidance.
No, and often they have imagers to try out at the classes.
Get your Level-I and Level-II at least, depending on what you are going to use the imager for.
Appreciate the response Ikage. There are no live classes to try out the infrared cameras that I am aware of due to covid. Also I have not seen a level 1 or 2 class on the internachi website. Am I missing something?

Appreciate the info Larry & Robert. Infraspections does offer “IR Inspections for InterNACHI Home & Building Inspectors
Distance Learning” course for $295. Once completed it qualifies the inspector to use the Internachi IR certified logo. Class is 16 hours and is applied to internachi’s furthering education requirements as well. Thank You for your guidance.

Thnx. Already took that course. In that course it is also recommended to take the green building & building science course as well as furthering education. Just trying to make sure I am properly educated before putting the money into an IR camera. Thank You everyone for contributing the useful information.
