Ins. cost for mold assessor

What is the cost for insurance roughly to cover the 1 mil for all active mold assessors annually?
or what is the additional rider cost on top of the home inspection insurance cost.

Depends on the amount of work you do…Mine was over $5000 for my home inspectors and mold assessors license.

Some say about $2000…

A good estimate would be between $2000 - $3000 for a single guy operation.

Thanks Russell your a stand up guy.

I would answer but it would be complicated with multiple inspectors, contractor’s license and worker’s comp. :stuck_out_tongue:

Ours is about $6800, drops a few hundred each year, was almost $9,500. We carry $2 million. Most Developer, Builders, GOV agency require 2 million. We had the “cheap” E&O until we had someone read the fine print. “If” the state does audit or you really end up in court, you want the best insurance if you have much of a company.

Just found this link, for those who don’t know about it.

My insurance for my FL mold assessors license is $800, but it is based on gross revenue from mold assessment activities which is zero.
