Anyone out there specialize in inspecting mobile homes? I have had some calls, but turn them down… I have never inspected one, but I am curious what they entail?

Anyone have advice or tips let me know.............

Mobiles have exceptionally nice crawl spaces. ![icon_cool.gif](upload://oPnLkqdJc33Dyf2uA3TQwRkfhwd.gif)

Chris (prev at FREA) told me not to even think about doing mobiles.

If you price em’ right you will never have to do one, for most inspectors they are twice the work & half the pay.

Good information source.
I also agree, they are time consuming for what they are. I do them. Don't like crawling under them. Need socket set to some times access water tank compartment.

Good luck

Why would you turn them down?

Look for water staining from leaking roof. Poor roof seams, painted roof...
Look for uninsulated piping under trailer if you are in a freeze zone.
Check heat source, water heater, electric panel.
Does the trailer have tie down cables?

Don't understand why anyone would turn down an inspection. Easy work in my opinion, have done several.

If there weren't any trailer parks, would there be tornado's? ![icon_wink.gif](upload://ssT9V5t45yjlgXqiFRXL04eXtqw.gif)
