I will be in Vegas for the expo. It is a great learning experience. Just remember that it is a pro ASHI event. Nick is their a NACHI table in the vendor area? If so I would be glad to spend some time recruiting new members. I also am going to go to the Holyfield vs Toney fight. Any of you going to that on the 4th? Hope to see you all in Vegas.

Greg,
I understand this is a "pro-ASHI" event, I'm okay with that. With a few NACHI members "spreading the good word," we can help this become a pro NACHI event too.
I won't be attending any other event while I'm there strictly business for me. Well except for my VIP pass at Glitter Gulch
I'll be driving in Monday morning, staying at the Boardwalk and driving home Wednesday night
Hope to see you there!

Hello,
I'm a relatively new NACHI member from So. NH and No. Mass.
I was at the ITA convention in Las Vegas 10/6-8/03 and I wish I got
on this message board earlier. I would have made it a point to seek
out other NACHI members.
Anyway, I thought it to be a very conference. Learned a lot and
that's all that matters. Yes, I also picked up on the strong ASHI
influence; that's because ASHI is heavily involved with ITA and vice
versa.
But I also noticed that NAHI and CREIA were there but no NACHI. I
also would like to volunteer my time next year to have a booth at the
conference. I think that if 4-6 NACHI members were to volunteer their
time, then everyone could still attend the topic discussions as well as
manage the booth.
I'll be seeing NicK G. in a few weeks and I'll drop him the suggestion.

Hi Marc
good idea we certainly need to start projecting ourselves at these types of events, and we are certainly big enough to be able to do so, I wonder what ITA would have thought of our application to exhibit had we applied this year, I don’t know how welcome we would have been in the current political climate.
It was very gratifying however to get them to list us on their website for the event, even if we forced them into it.

Marcus,
I wouldn't have a problem with that.
If Nick was to set up a table at next years conference, I would fly down to Vegas in a heartbeat. Recruiting new members for NACHI would be an adventure.
And like you said, "Attend the topic discussions" on the off-time while I'm there.
