Buyers who do not attend the Home Inspection can read and agree to your pre-inspection agreement online. Great for out of town buyers who recieve emailed reports.
I am here to answer any questions or concerns you have about the site.
You can email me directly info@inspectionagreement.com

Hi Gerry
Do all of your customers have a fax?
This is something that I think will work well with the new web sites that NACHI is going to offer its members. I have one on my site it works great.
Alamode could not put one together for me that is why I did not switch to their service.
I will be using this service once Chris is finished with our new web sites.

We have found that most clients do not have easy access to a fax machine. Sure they can go to the local “Staples” pay a dollar, receive the fax, sign it, pay another dollar and send the fax back.
It?s all about convenience. Most clients do have access to a computer with internet access

Something else to add to the discussion.
inspectionagreement.com also records the users IP address. This is critical if you are ever in the position of having to prove (in court) who clicked "I Agree" It is set up to record the following:
Client's IP Address:
Client's First & Last Name:
Client's Phone Number:
Inspection Address:
The records are then kept in your database. As a home inspector you have access to your database and can search it by date.
You do not even need your own website to use this service.

Joseph,
Actually about a year or two ago, Congress passed a law regarding electronic signatures as valid and legal. I don't know if it has been tested in court yet. But they are valid now.

The case could be made that an agreement "signed online" in advance of the home inspection is better. Clients who sign a paper agreement can argue that they were presented with the paper agreement at the Home Inspection and did not have time to review it etc. etc.

As Greg mentioned, we will be offering a similar service with the upcoming NACHI-hosted websites. Inspectionagreement.com’s services may be different than that which we’ll be offering, I’m not quite sure yet. I’ll keep everyone posted, though.
